Timesheets & time reports
A week of time, filled in before you leave on Friday.
One weekly grid for projects and phases: pick the project, pick the phase, type the hours into the day, with rows carrying across weeks and internal time in the same grid. Start and end times where you need the detail. Then reports that turn the whole studio’s hours into totals by person, by project and by stage — ready to invoice or export.
Free plan: one project, one user. Current plan inclusions and terms are on the pricing page.
The problem
Time recorded a fortnight late is a guess. And a guess is no use when you’re trying to work out whether documentation ate the whole fee.
Start and end times when the detail matters.
Every entry carries a start, an end, a phase and a description, grouped by day. Mark it billable, and once it’s been invoiced the entry says so — no double-billing a fortnight later.
- Billable and invoiced flags on every entry
- Descriptions that read like a fee note, not a riddle
- Time logged against the stage it belongs to
Hours read against the hours you quoted.
Each stage’s timesheet hours sit against the hours in its fee proposal, so a stage running past its quote shows up in the week it happens. The money side — what those hours cost at true rates — is on the Fees tab.
- Spent hours against quoted hours, per stage
- Over the quote, the bar turns red
- The same figures feed fee tracking
Reports the whole studio can be run from.
Choose a period, then filter by team member, project or stage. Rosco totals the hours, splits them by person and by project with a share of the total, and lists every entry underneath — with a CSV export for the accountant.
The rest of it
Teammate view
Principals can open anyone’s week to see what’s logged and what’s still blank, without chasing it in person.
Billable vs internal
CPD, admin and leave sit alongside project time but stay out of the billable total.
Stage-level hours
Filter a report to one stage to see what concept actually cost, across every project.
Invoiced flags
Entries are marked when they’ve been billed, so hourly work is only invoiced once.
CSV in and out
Import a week from a spreadsheet, export any report for payroll or your accountant.
Straight into fees
Hours read against the hours quoted for each stage, so the position is current rather than monthly.
