Invoicing

Invoices raised against the stage, straight into cashflow.

Run the month’s billing from one screen: every project with unbilled hours, an invoice started from each row, billed by hours or by a share of the stage fee. Each invoice sits against its stage and lands in one list across your projects and in the company cashflow view.

Free plan: one project, one user. Current plan inclusions and terms are on the pricing page.

Invoicing — every invoice across your projects, one list.

A profitable project can still run out of cash. When invoicing lives apart from the fee, nobody sees the claims that were never sent.

i

Run the month’s billing in one pass.

Pick the period, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or your own dates, and the bill run lists every project with unbilled hours in it: the hours, what they come to, when the project was last invoiced and whether it’s over budget. Skip a project, or start its invoice from the row.

ii

Bill by hours, or by a share of the stage fee.

Bill by Hours fetches the period’s timesheet hours by stage and person at their billable rate; tick the lines you want and add them to the invoice. Bill by % of Phase claims a share of the stage fee instead. The bill run summary and the hours breakdown sit beside the invoice while you work.

iii

Claim against the stage.

Every invoice is raised against a stage and its fee. The Fees tab shows what you’ve invoiced for each stage as a share of its fee, so a stage that’s behind on claims shows up while it still matters.

One cashflow view for the practice.

Invoices roll up into a cashflow summary across every project, month by month, with total revenue, expenses and profit or loss underneath. Revenue is what has been invoiced, paid or not; it isn’t cash in the bank.

Cashflow — every project’s invoices, month by month, in one view. Revenue here is invoices issued, including unpaid ones; it is not cash received.
